Perle Noire Orleans Burlesque Festival.PERLE NOIRE, the Black Pearl (New Orleans, LA) Perle Noire jump-started her burlesque career with Bustout Burlesque in 2005. Her tribute to Josephine Baker is so electrifying, she was labeled "Feminine Phenomenon" by the New Orleans Times-Picayune. Since then, she has gone on to win Best Debut at the Burlesque Hall of Fame's Miss Exotic World competition in 2008, 2nd Runner-Up to the title in 2009, and "Queen of Burlesque" at the 2009 New Orleans Burlesque Festival. Perle Noire has appeared on television in the Travel Channel's Extreme Competitions, and on film in the feature documentary Burlesque Undressed. In July 2010, she was selected by Dita Von Teese to perform with her at the House of Blues in New Orleans.
